One of the most interesting stories comes from Loyd Jarmen, a recently retired NTS field technician and District Supervisor. The US Navy has installed Noritsu photo printers for use on aircraft carriers. When it comes time for servicing, the US Navy doesn't come to NTS. Instead, NTS goes to sea. In past adventures, Loyd would make a "house call" to the ships. He found himself in some very interesting positions, such as dangling over the stormy waters of the Pacific Ocean, suspended in a bosun's chair while being transferred from one ship to another. It's all in the line of duty for Loyd, one of many dedicated NTS field technicians.
